Austin Film Incentive 2026 — ACCI + TMIIIP Stack Calculator

Austin offers qualifying productions a city-level creative content incentive (ACCI) that stacks directly on top of the Texas state TMIIIP program. Combined, Austin productions can access some of the most competitive effective rebate rates in the United States.

Austin Creative Content Incentive (ACCI)

ACCI is administered by the Austin Film Commission and is score-based — the uplift percentage depends on your project's performance against criteria including Austin-resident workforce hiring, local vendor spend, and project type.

The $150,000 cap means ACCI is most valuable for productions in the $1M–$10M qualifying Austin-spend range. Above $6M, the effective ACCI contribution diminishes as a percentage.

UEDA Consideration: 30-Mile Boundary

Austin sits within the Urban Economic Development Area (UEDA) as defined by TMIIIP. Filming primarily within 30 miles of Austin does not qualify for the UEDA 2.5% bonus. Productions that spread filming beyond 30 miles from both Austin and Dallas city centers can access the UEDA uplift on those days.
